Brass Jewelry
Our handcrafted jewelry is made with love in Kenya. Pure brass tarnishes with time.
To care for the brass, use half a lemon with a teaspoon of baking soda, and soak for 5 minutes. Rinse clean with warm water and mild soap. Polish when needed with microfiber cloth.
We advise that you avoid wearing the brass jewelery while excercising or swimming. You can store your jewelry in the Tirzah bags it arrives in to ensure it stays bright and clean.

Horn, Wood, and Bone
Our home pieces are upcycled, sustainable, and each have their own unique textures and variations.
Clean with soap and warm water and do not use a dishwasher as the heat will damage the natural materials.
All of our wood products are made with sustainably-sourced olive wood and require oiling occassionally to avoid cracking and ensure the pieces keep their natural glow. You can use any oil you have on hand - olive, avocado, sunflower - and a few drops gently massaged across the surface until absorbed works perfectly.
Horn pieces and bone inlays do not require any oiling, and a soft cloth polish will restore their shine.

Leather
Our leather is crafted in Kenya and is natural and organic. It must be kept free from dust and moisturized often.
To clean, use only trusted leather soap, especially made from dairy products. Using a damp cloth, apply the soap to the stained places, spot clean well, then dry under a shade - not direct sunlight. Leather oil is then applied to moisturise and give a glow to the leather.
Always store the leather bag in the provided storage bag to avoid dust.
Avoid soaking leather in water. If it has contact with water, simply let it dry naturally.
